1. We are a small team with minimal overheads...
You benefit directly from this as we have few expenses of our own, so don't need to mark up our jewellery to the extent of a tradtional Jewellery store.
2. We do not have a shop front with expensive stock...
One reason why retail outlets often have to charge a lot more for fine jewellery is the costs they incur themselves by having to stock it. Fine jewellery is something that may not fly out of their shop on the first day of putting it in the window, rather a piece of jewellery may sit there for weeks, even months, before it finds the right owner. In these circumstances, the jewellery has to be paying for itself whilst still in the shop, so the price will reflect this, especially with larger pieces.
Experts in bespoke engagement and bespoke wedding rings, we do not work in this way, therefore do not have the need to pass on this cost.
3. Our industry contacts...
We have created excellent contacts in the gemstone and fine metal industries over the years and you benefit from great savings we can pass on at this level, when we make your bespoke engagement and wedding rings.
4. We enjoy saving you money...
Whilst all the above is true, we could still pile on the mark up, but we don’t, because we enjoy helping our customers get the jewellery they dream of, for an affordable price. We don't even advertise, we find the best thing for us is word of mouth, as everyone leaves with a big smile.
5. We still have a lot to show you... You may think that because we don't keep a large amount of stock, we won't have many pieces for you to see... you'd be mistaken. When we make a prototype of a bespoke engagement ring , wedding ring , or piece of gift jewellery, we have it cast into whichever precious metal, (18 carat or platinum) our client requires, at the same time we will have some silver castings produced, which we finish and set with synthetic stones and then we're able to show off the different styles, and the diversity of jewellery we're able to make.
At Form we pride ourselves on the finishing of our jewellery, and we like to see it keep its shine. We offer all our customers complimentary life time maintenance on our jewellery.
To validate this you must bring your jewellery to us to be checked every six months, when we will also clean, polish and if necessary re-plate you jewellery free of charge.
Whenever you think your jewellery needs a spruce after it’s been purchased from Form, whether it’s for a special night, possibly an anniversary… or just to keep it looking its best, you’re more than welcome to come over to our Leeds studio where our staff will happily give it a loving clean and a polish, checking over all the diamonds/gemstones.
