Passionate about working with customers to create truly individual jewellery, Form Bespoke Jewellers have struck gold with their recent expansion. Welcoming a new addition to the team, not only enhances their unique product ranges, but it also firmly establishes Form as an unparalleled provider of truly outstanding designs throughout West Yorkshire.
Newly appointed Leeds-based Gary Thompson joins Form Bespoke Jewellers in Chapel Allerton, bringing over 26 years of sought-after experience from within the jewellery industry.
Since 1985 Gary has been established within the Jewellery industry, beginning as an apprentice with a wholesale manufacturer in Leeds, he acquired skills through jewellery repairing, casting and creating finished items. Today this knowledge provides a solid foundation in his understanding of all aspects of Jewellery production.
By 1990 Gary joined the largest manufacturer of jewellery in Europe as a model maker, eventually working his way up to a managerial position overseeing a team of 6. As a highly skilled and creative jewellery model maker, Gary worked on commercial jewellery ranges for high-end customers including Independent Jewellers and large National Accounts such as Marks and Spencer and Costco.
Gary also has an impressive history of international travel, working in consultation with International companies, he has travelled widely including the Far East, where he conducted high-end jewellery workshops. Liaising with foreign companies on a regular basis, he has overseen the creative development of many highly competitive jewellery ranges.
Gary has a natural flair for design and created the award winning first Palladium Gents collection to be hallmarked in the UK, which was internationally recognised.
Gary was also commissioned by the Red Arrows, to create jewellery fit for royalty. The outstandingly beautiful brooch, which he produced, was presented to Princess Anne, set with princess cut rubies and diamonds, in the formation of the Red Arrows.
Adding to his impeccable reputation Gary also has over eight years CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience which allows him to combine both his designer knowledge and model making skills, producing a unique skill set rarely found within the industry.
Joining Form at a perfect time, Gary's CAD skills are an optimal addition to the Form service offering. As the jewellers continues to expand, the next step for the company is to offer a CAD design service which will increase the options on offer for customers to provide customers with incredible value. Gary will play an integral part in ensuring that Form can provide this seamless service to consumers, keeping Form Bespoke Jewellers at the forefront of creating beautiful unique jewellery to suit all budgets.
