When talking wedding rings, there's a language you'll need to learn..we're here to make it easy for you.. Wedding rings have many forms –which is right for you?
Whether you're looking to buy a ready made piece, or create a ring to your bespoke requirements, you need to consider the shape that you'd prefer, for the overall look.
-
Traditional court - These rings have a rounded profile on the outside and inside to give a comfortable fit on the finger. (Profile 1)
-
Flat court with a flat edge - These have a contemporary flat look with a deeper side wall to give you the option to have some stones set on the top of the ring or just along an edge. (Profile No.2)
-
Flat court with no wall -This ring has a contemporary flat look without the side walls of the flat court flat edged style, again with a court fit on the inside of the ring for a comfort fit. (Profile No. 3)
-
Square court - This is a very modern style it's a variation on the traditional court but with less of a rounded style and still with a court on the inside to give it a comfortable fit. (Profile No. 4)
Once this is decided, then comes the question of diamonds, or no diamonds, contemporary or classic styles- it's time to get down to details!
